Sioux Falls police release surveillance photos of Casey's robbery

Sioux Falls police have released surveillance photos from a robbery at a Casey's General store Thursday morning.

The incident happened at 5:06 am Thursday at the Casey's General Store at 701 South Sycamore Avenue.

According to Sioux Falls police, the suspect waved a large butcher knife at the clerk and motioned for her to open the till. The clerk opened the till and took out the cash drawer. The suspect then pushed the cash drawer into his back pack and left out the front door heading north.

No one was injured in the robbery and an investigation is ongoing.

Police are looking for a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark colored shoes, a red cap with a white emblem on the front and a red bandana covering his face. The suspect was also carrying a black back pack with a white Nike emblem on it.
