Sioux Falls police say a driver fired at least one shot at another car during a road rage incident early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the area of 12thand LaMesa for an accident with a possible assault with a gun. Police say two vehicles were swerving at each other for several blocks, before one slammed on the brakes, causing one car to rear end the other.
At least one shot was fired from inside the rear vehicle, through the windshield before lodging in the rear of the front car.
The driver, Matthew Wayne Leiss, 29, was arrested for reckless driving.
The driver of the rear car, Jessie Quarve, 23, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
No one was hurt in the incident.
