RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Rapid City's police and fire departments are squaring off in a broomball game on Saturday.
The sixth annual battle between the agencies raises money for Toys for Tots with the funds benefiting Black Hills-area children.
The winner of the 11 a.m. competition at Main Street Square takes home the coveted traveling Golden Broom trophy. The Rapid City Fire department has prevailed the last two years.
Volunteers will be accepting donations from the crowd during the game.
