Lower Brule man dies after leaving his car in snow storm

A Lower Brule man is dead after leaving his car, which was stranded in a ditch.

Roger Rodriquez was driving home during the snow storm around 1:30 am Sunday. His car left the roadway after he crossed the Big Bend Dam.

A family friend says Rodriquez called his wife to tell her that he needed a ride, but when people went to get him they could not find him.

A search resumed Monday for Rodriquez. His body was found Monday afternoon—200 feet from his vehicle.
