The iMeshi iPhone case series has become a world renowned brand for cell phone accessories distributor Strapya World. These iPhone 5 cases are designed to look like some of the most famous traditional Japanese dishes; and a fresh new batch has just been served up for the holiday season.

Cell phone accessories – unique ones anyway – are fairly difficult to come by. Most people are content to sport the most basic of cell phone cases, screen protectors or other accessories with little to no thought behind them. For those people, that works.
Other people prefer the wacky over the average and the flamboyant over the boring. The iMeshi series is anything but average. Designed with precision and detail in mind, these replicas of Japanese foods look nearly identical to their edible counterparts and have been featured on blogs and news sites for previous versions.
Strapya World has also experimented with such ludicrous ideas as the Severed Child’s Hand iPhone 4 Case as well, obviously without the same amount of success. Strapya has not verified whether or not they will be making this severed hand case for the iPhone 5, however, they did make iMeshi, and it has been released just in time for the holiday season.
Initially, the series consists of four different famous Japanese platters: hinomaru bento (Japanese Flag lunch), tonkatsu (fried pork), yakisoba (beef noodles), and good ol' bacon n' eggs. That's right, bacon and eggs is a famous Japanese platter too. The power of bacon knows no borders, boundaries, nor does it have a language barrier.
Other notable products being released for the holiday season include the Fukubukuro Lucky Bag which is literally a bag filled with randomly selected cell phone accessories and sold at a discount price, the Light-Up version of Star Wars Chop Saber Chopsticks, and a series of customizable iPhone cases replete with crystals from Swarovski.
Strapya World has become relatively well-known the world over for introducing the “kawaii” (cute) and “otaku” (geek) cultures of Japan to the rest of the world vicariously through their cell phone cases and accessories. This strategy has seen recent success, as their Facebook fan page has just eclipsed the Top 30 Largest Facebook Fan Pages in Japan with over 23,500 fans, and they are continuing to build on that success.
When asked what he thought of Strapya World's recent growth, International Sales Manager Kosuke Fujii said, "We expect to be among the leaders in Japan because we operate on a global level, and it's great, but our real goal is to be the world leader in e-Commerce for the cell phone accessories market."
As a general rule of thumb, shopping at Strapya World should be reserved for those who are looking for products that would be considered "kawaii" items such as Sanrio Hello Kitty products that are exclusive to Japan, earphone jack accessories, or those on a quest for Japanese style cell phone accessories.
That's not to say that this website is only good for the ladies. For the men, Strapya World also offers a broad selection of iPhone 5 Cases as well as some Japanese Gadgets that seem to appeal to the male gender, and of course the aforementioned iMeshi series.
So if you’re looking for a Christmas gift to get for an eccentric friend or relative, perhaps an eccentric cell phone accessory is the gift you’re looking for. It would be great timing too, aligned with the release of these new products.
