South Dakota State University has released the name of the student who died on the campus Tuesday night.
Sophomore Connor Noteboom, 19, of Pickstown, SD was majoring in advertising. He died at approximately 11:30 pm. Noteboom was found in Binneweis Hall on the campus.
Director of University Relations Mike Lockrem said the coroner's report stated Noteboom's death was self inflicted. No other details were released.
Earlier Wednesday, Lockrem said the University is working with the family and students most affected by the death. Lockrem said counseling is available for students campus wide. He said anyone who needs support should contact University Counseling.
