Sioux Falls Fire Rescue received a call for a garage fire that broke out around 4:30 a.m., Saturday. It happened at the 2100 block of South Wayland Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the garage of the home.
More than a dozen crews responded and had the fire under control within 15 minutes.
Officials say there was extensive fireand smoke damage to the structure. The cause of the fire is still underinvestigation.
Nobody was injured, but crews said the home did not have a residential sprinkler system.
