Man arrested after dispute over board game

A man was arrested after disputing with his father over a board game on Christmas Day in Sioux Falls.

Just before 4 pm Tuesday, police were called to the 5000-block of West Equestrian Pl. Lt. Blaine Larsen with Sioux Fall Police said two men were arguing over a board game. Larsen said when police arrived one of the men bit and clamped down on an officer.

Benjamin Wattier, 35, was arrested for simple assault on his father. He was also charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement.

Larsen said the officer is okay.
