New this morning, one person is in custody after police believe they hit and damaged two separate apartment buildings in Sioux Falls.
It happened around 2:30 Thursday morning. The suspect first hit an apartment building and a car on 634 North Dakota Avenue and then a few minutes later hit another apartment at 916 South Menlo Avenue.
The damage at the Menlo apartment was the worse of the two. It caved in a large portion of one room. Police say that no one was hurt in either accident. They did find the driver and take them into custody. Police did not tell us what charges will be filed against the driver, only that they believed the suspect had too much to drink and that they were the only person in the car.
