Six hurt in accident involving Sioux Falls city bus

Six people were hurt Friday afternoon after an accident involving a city bus in Sioux Falls.

Police say a car ran a red light at the intersection of 8th Street and Minnesota Avenue about 12:15 p.m.

Four people on board the bus and two people in the car were taken to area hospitals to be treated for injuries. But their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The crash is still under investigation. It's not clear if the weather played a factor in the crash.
