The Sioux Falls Stampede is preparing to take the ice this weekend. They are taking on their I-29 rivals Sioux City. To get everyone ready for the game, we are continuing our Hockey 101 lessons. This morning Shawn Cable took to the ice and learned from a few of the players the true art of the slap shot. While he wasn't bad, it might be a good idea to leave the skating and shooting to the professionals. There are games Friday and Saturday. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena. And on Friday, the first 500 fans through the doors will receive a free sleeve of Stampede golf balls.
