No one injured in Corson elevator explosion

A dust explosion lead to a grain elevator being evacuation Friday morning.

It happened in the town of Corson, SD at about 9:00 am. Employees with the elevator say after the dust explosion the facility was immediately evacuated.

No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the incident is not known and the extent of the damage or impact on mill operation is not known either.

The company is conducting a full investigation at to what caused the explosion.
