A Sioux Falls man has been arrested for making multiple false bomb reports at the John Morrell's.
Nathaniel Martin, 22, a disgruntled employee from Sioux Falls was arrested for four counts of falsely reporting bombs—each count is a felony.
The first false report came on January 2 before 7 pm. Police say Martin called an office inside Morrell's claiming there was a bomb on the grounds. The claim was unfounded.
On January 3, there were three more similar calls that came in around 3 pm and shortly after 7 pm that night. After the first call, a detective was assigned to the case and a phone number for where the calls were made was obtained.
No bombs were ever found the building was never evacuated. Police arrested Martin on January 4.
