Escape Huron inmate Charles Beeney found in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls Police say tonight that Charles Beeney, the man who escaped early this morning from the Beadle County Jail in Huron, was apprehended tonight in Sioux Falls.

After receiving several tips from the public, police found a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle Beeney was thought to be traveling in....a 1991 Ford 250 pick-up truck.

The vehicle was located near East 15th Street and South Charlotte Avenue and police say Beeney was in the vehicle when officers arrived to follow up on the public's tips.

Beeney was taken into custody without incident.
