A memorial fund has been established to help the family of a Sioux Falls man who died in an alleged murder last weekend.
Police say Crescencio Conde-Vargas, 50, was killed with a wooden bat early Saturday morning. Robert Bass, 22, of Sioux Falls was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the case.
Nancy Conde, the victim's daughter, told KSFY News people have started to help with the funeral and burial costs. She said many people the family doesn't even know have been offering to help.
Donations can be made through Wells Fargo. Just ask for the Crescencio Conde-Vargas memorial fund.
A memorial service for Conde-Vargas will be at Sioux Falls Assemblies of God at 6300 W. 41st St, Sioux Falls, SD on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 pm. The burial is at Hills of Rest Memorial Park on Monday, January 14 at 1:00pm.
