KOTA-TV (RAPID CITY, SD)- Investigators are asking for the public's help in locating Charles Birdshead, age 30, for questioning in the homicide of Eustacio Marrufo.
Marrufo, 33, was killed Monday in the parking lot of the South Dakota Rose Inn on East Boulevard North. An autopsy shows he died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.Police believe that Birdshead was an acquaintance of Marrufo's.
Birdshead's last known residence was in Rapid City. He is also wanted on active warrants for obstructing police and possession of a controlled substance.
Birdshead is a Native American male, 5'8"-5'9", 140-150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck and chest, and may be wearing glasses. Birdshead should be considered dangerous, and police say do not approach him.
