Nancy's Workout Resolutions: Day 1

The new year has encouraged Nancy Naeve Brown and Rachel Gabrielsen to sign up for a New Year's Resolution and this year they decided to start working out. They both started on Monday and Friday was day 5. They have hit some high and lows during the week and now have a hard time sitting down at the anchor desk. Nancy asked the crew at Sioux empire Fitness how she can get back on track after an 8 year absence from the gym. She joined the 21 day fit study, where she is working out with a trainer 2 days a week and on her own the rest of the time. Trainer Brandon Kruger helped Nancy get back into the swing of things on day one. She does 30 minutes of cardio and then 30 minutes of strength training. She also talked caloric intake with her trainer. They are recommending she eats 10 to 12 fist sized portions of food each day. They save a fistful is about 100 calories. She has been weighed and measured and we will check back in with her in about 3 weeks.
