Worthington Christian School was closed for the second consecutive day on Friday.
With nearly a third of the student body absent on Wednesday with the flu, Principal Lori Eckoff decided it was best to shut down for a couple days.
"We showed up on Wednesday and about twenty students were out sick," Eckoff said to KSFY News. "I spoke with members of the school bored and we decided best to close."
A student body that has less than 60 students had at least two students with confirmed influenza.
Right now Eckoff plans to speak with student's parents over the weekend to gage their children's health, but plans for students to be back in school on Monday.
In the meantime the janitors are giving Worthington Christian a cleaning to make sure no lingering germs are floating around.
