While the cold weather might have kept kids away from the outdoors Saturday, hundreds got a chance to visit the rainforest indoors.
It was like going on vacation at the Sioux Falls Convention Center where Bixby's Inflatable Rainforest brought the rainforest to life for kids and families.
Kids took to the inflatable bounces, the slides, mazes and even some obstacle courses.
Children had the chance to discover the importance of conservation, preservation and going green with stage shows and live animals.
One mom tells us why she's happy to be here. "For her to burn off energy out of her system, it's been good for that so far," Erin Hudelson said.
The rainforest closed Saturday at 5 o'clock but re-opens Sunday morning from 10 until 5.
Tickets for free unlimited play are $10 per person.
