Fire crews remain on the scene of a business fire near Tea.
Authorities say the first call went out about 4:45 Sunday afternoon at Sioux Falls Kitchen and Bath. That's located at 27063 Henry Place, just off Lincoln County Highway 106/271st Street.
Heavy smoke and flames could be seen by people for miles, including those driving on I-29.
Fire crews from Tea and Harrisburg and Sioux Falls responded.
Captain Brett Miller with the Tea Fire Department says no one was hurt but the building was destroyed.
There was no damage to other buildings in the largely industrial area.
Miller says fighting the fire in Sunday's frigid temperatures was a challenge for firefighters.
Water tankers had to be brought in because there are no hydrants in the area.
Highway 106 remains closed between Louise Avenue and Mueller Place.
The following statement was released from Sioux Falls Kitchen & Bath:
"This afternoon, our business suffered a fire loss. Damage occurred to a limited portion of our business. We do not anticipate that this damage will prevent us from continuing to provide product to our customers. The major portion of our production area was protected because of the good work of area fire crews, to which we are very grateful. We look forward to re-building the damaged area as soon as possible. Our offices will be up and running as normal, Monday morning."
