SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Sioux Falls man accused in a conspiracy to bring methamphetamine from Arizona to South Dakota has pleaded guilty.
Forty-six-year-old Darrel Hollingsworth faces at least five years in federal prison and as much as 40 years. He also could face a $5 million fine when he is sentenced April 8.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says that Hollingsworth and a co-conspirator traveled to Arizona at least three times between August 2011 and January 2012 to obtain meth to sell in South Dakota. Johnson says others distributed the drugs, collected payments and gave the money to Hollingsworth.
