RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe is scheduled to be back in his office on Wednesday after spending more than two weeks in a hospital.
Bryan Brewer began receiving treatment at Rapid City Regional Hospital since Dec. 29. That's when he was involved in a one-vehicle accident on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
Brewer broke his hip and ribs in the crash.
Tribal spokeswoman Toni Red Cloud says that although Brewer will need surgery in the future for the broken hip, his doctors cleared him to be released Tuesday.
