Alcester under Boil Order; Water restored

Water is back on in the small South Dakota city of Alcester, but residents are urged to use caution.

While the water was restored Tuesday-- after water main break Sunday-- the City is still under a boil order for the next 48 hours.

City officials tell KSFY News the boil order is a standard procedure after a water main break, to protect against bacteria that could have made its way into the pipe.
