Posted: Updated:

Strawberries, Blueberries, and Boysenberries are always mentioned in improving general health, and now research shows women may get the best benefit of all.

A study in the Journal of the American Heart Association looked at almost 94,000 woman.

Studies found those who ate at least three servings of blueberries and strawberries per week had a 32% lower risk of heart attack.

Dietary flavonoids found in berries are key to opening arteries and countering the buildup of plaque.
