Pierre's Severyn Named KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week - KSFY News - Sioux Falls, SD News, Weather, Sports

    Our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week has lead the Pierre boys basketball team to three straight wins, and set a pretty big record.

    Lane Severyn had consecutive games of 33 and 19 points scored.  He also became Pierre's all time leading boys scorer, breaking Troy Schaefer's record which had stood since the early 80's.

   Severyn broke the record on a three-pointer.

   He is a South Dakota State recruit, and for that performance, we salute Lane Severyn as our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week.
