Police looking for three men who robbed a woman and her children

Police are looking for three men who robbed a woman and her four children in a Sioux Falls apartment Thursday night.

The robbery happened Thursday night at an apartment along Stony Creek Street. The woman and her 4-year-old and 17-year-old children were sleeping in a locked bedroom. Two other children, a 16-year-old and 14-year-old, were elsewhere in the apartment.

Sioux Falls Police Spokesperson Sam Clemens said three men armed with weapons entered the unlocked apartment, kicked in the bedroom door and demanded money. Clemens said one of the men appeared to have a stun gun.

The three men received the money and then ran from the scene.

Police are looking for three black men. One was wearing a ski mask and is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 165-185 pounds.

A second suspect is described as being around 27 years old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds.

The third suspect is described as looking 21 to 25 years old, standing 6 feet tall but no weight description was provided.
