Some say there is nothing better than some delicious chili on a cold winter's day.
While the cold weather kept most of us indoors, a group of seniors at Active Generations took on the Chili Challenge
This is an event at Active Generations and looks to support the Veteran's Build Program in order to build a home for a South Dakota veteran family.
There was also a silent auction to help raise money.
Participants say it couldn't be a better day for some chili.
"When it was cold, snowing this morning, the wind is blowing, you can't find a better day for chili. That's when it feels good it warms your body," Susan Clift said.
