NSU Marching Band heads to Washington, D.C.

Posted: Updated:

The Northern State University Marching Wolves are en route to the nation's capital to perform in the 57th Inaugural Parade, Monday.

The NSU Marching Wolves packed their tubas and snare drums and left South Dakota, Friday night.

All 110 band members will be blowing their horns and banging their drums to "This Is Our Country" as they march down Pennsylvania Avenue following the President's inaugural address.

Members know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and they'll do their best to take it all in.

"We're very excited and proud. It's an honor to be headed there and we're going to make history!" senior member Robert Klassen said.

You can find the marching Wolves in the parade's 5th division on Monday.
