Man arrested for rape on Dakota Wesleyan Campus

A 23-year-old has been arrested for rape of a woman on the Dakota Wesleyan University campus in Mitchell.

Kristopher Wilson was arrested for the rape of a person incapable of giving consent. Wilson allegedly had sex with an adult female who was highly intoxicated and unconscious Sunday night, according to the Mitchell Police Department.

Dakota Wesleyan University staff cooperated with and aided the investigation.

Wilson is facing a class two felony and could face up to 25 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
