Our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week has been one of the state's premier high school girls basketball players.
Who, unfortunately, may have played her final high school basketball game last night.
Lincoln Patriot senior Darby Hugunin scored 13 points, and really provided a big spark early in Lincoln's win over top-ranked Washington.
She seriously injured her wrist in the second half, an injury that may force her out for the rest of the season.
Hugunin has had a great 4-year career on the Lincoln varsity.
She's a Creighton soccer recruit, and for that performance we salute Lincoln's Darby Huginin as our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week.
