The national retailer and membership warehouse club Costco is still set to break ground this May.
After the death of developer Don Dunham, there was some concern if the project would move forward. But, Sioux Falls city planner Mike Cooper says the 150,000 square foot Costco store at 41st Street and Grange Avenue says the project is a go.
"All of the permits, all of the approvals for the project have been done by us," said Cooper. "Right now, we're just working through some final things in terms of traffic improvements we'd like to see on Grange and 41st. So, we're just working through some final details of the development plan.
The new Costco store is expected to open in the fall.
