Man arrested for Toronto Bank Robbery; Could be connected to other robberies
Federal agents have arrested a man accused of robbing a bank in Toronto, SD, and they are looking into whether he was involved in other unsolved bank robberies in the area.
Special Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation arrested Nathan Reisetter, 38, of White. Reisetter was arrested 9:00 am Tuesday at his workplace in Brookings.
Reisetter was arrested in connection with the robbery at First Bank & Trust in Toronto on January 2.
"The arrest was the culmination of joint law enforcement efforts between the South Dakota DCI and the FBI," Special Agent in Charge, J. Christopher Warrener stated in a news release. |
The FBI and local authorities are looking into other, unsolved bank robberies for which Reisetter may be responsible.
