It was the second annual pre-drilled hole Ice Fish Fest out at Catfish Bay in Sioux Falls.
Organizers have been privately stocking the bay for the last 20 years and this year, they said it was the biggest one yet.
They had 18 inch walleyes, big bass, and crappies, and the person who catches the biggest fish won a thousand dollars cash.
"They've caught lots of fish, people are having a great time. Pretty amazing the amount of fish they've caught out here," Jim Bruns said.
Participants have caught about 500, compared to last year when they caught only about 300. All proceeds from the event help fund the water ski team at Catfish Bay.
