Our pet of the week is "Kurtis." He is an adorable White and Black Pointer, Boarder Collie mix.
This two-year-old came to the shelter as a stray. He has lots of energy and needs an owner who is active and has time for him. It's unclear how Kurtis would do around other dogs but he hasn't had any issues with the dogs at the shelter.
The Humane Society suggests introducing Kurtis to your other dogs before bringing him home. He should be fine with kids of all ages as long as they understand his energy level. He isn't neutered but you'll get a fifty dollar donation toward a vet of your choice if you adopt him and get him neutered. He has been microchipped, frontlined, and started on vaccinations.
