The fire in which three children were killed has been deemed undetermined, said Sioux Falls Fire Marshall Dean Lanier.
The fire was located at 1100 North Main Avenue. It broke out the morning of December 22. Three children—Michael Hensley, 16, Savannah Coon, 12, and Alivia Coon, 6—were killed in the blaze.
It was not until last Tuesday when firefighters were finally allowed to enter the remains of the structure. Crews were not allowed to investigate because the home was too unstable after the fire.
Lanier said more details about the investigation would be released during Tuesday's police briefing. Stay with KSFY News for updates.
