Lincoln Co. Sheriff asks for help to find Harrisburg rape suspect
Police are still looking for Harrisburg man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl earlier in January.
The Lincoln County Sheriff has issued an arrest warrant for Obadian Loyira, 19, and now the office is asking for help in locating Loyira. Loyira is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 170 pounds.
On January 18, Avera McKennan Emergency room contacted the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office regarding a 12-year-old girl who reported she was sexually assaulted by three males at her home in Harrisburg.
Elizeo Kalimba, 20, and another teenager from Council Bluffs, IA were arrested in connection with the incident.
Loyira is wanted for First Degree Rape and Possession of Child Pornography. Lt. Chad Brown said they believe Loyira is in the Sioux Falls area.
Anyone with information on Loyira's whereabouts should contact police or Crime Stoppers, 605-367-7007, immediately.
