Thursday marks 100 days away from the 25th Annual Avera Race Against Breast Cancer.

During the last 24 years, the race has raised more than $2.7 million to fight breast cancer and support local patients.

Jackie Haggar-Tuschen was there in the beginning. She said she didn't expect such success.

"I thought it was going to be a nice event for the community for a few years. I didn't see this growth ahead of us," Haggar-Tuschen said.
