It's no question the weather has most of us staying indoors, Thursday, especially the thousands of school students across the area. But, not everyone had a choice.
A lot of brave souls are outside, there for a long period of time because they make a living out of it. For example: U.S. Postal workers who brave the bitter cold walking blocks at a time to fill our mailboxes. Also, the men and women who deliver our pizzas piping hot from the oven to our doors.
I met two men who hold both of these jobs. They admit it can be very tolling on their bodies. But when it comes to making a buck or two, they're always prepared for what Mother Nature has in store.
For a lot of us, this weather doesn't seem like it's good for the body but employees at Boss' Chicken and Pizza say it's been great for business.
"It's really busy out today, it's good because there's no school there's kids out there that are out there hungry, make some good tips hopefully," Ethan Dickson said.
They encourage a lot of layers when in the cold for long periods of time and to keep limbs moving.
