Three men have been arrested through a reverse prostitution sting conducted by Sioux Falls police.
Thursday evening Adam Alrubaie, 52, Hartford, Daniel Joseph Klecker, 63, Sioux Falls, and Mitchell Allen Whitefield, 30, Grand Rapids were arrested at a local Sioux Falls Motel.
The Sioux Falls Police Department Street Crimes Unit and Narcotics Unit conducted the sting. Undercover female officers posing as prostitutes were contacted by prospective "johns" by phone and through internet ads.
The three men were arrested and charged with Hiring for Sexual Activity. The operation is a continuation of investigations dealing with prostitution and human trafficking in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.
