Outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton turned in her official letter of resignation today, and said a heartfelt goodbye to her staff.
And while much of the speech focused on the work accomplished over the past four years, Clinton took time to joke about her exhaustive travel schedule. "I cannot fully express how grateful I am to those with whom I have spent many hours here in Washington, around the world and in airplanes."
Clinton went on to say she hopes state department staff members will show incoming secretary John Kerry the same commitment they've shown her.
