USD exhibit to showcase student photos from abroad

Posted: Updated:

VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - The University of South Dakota is showcasing student photography from around the world in a new exhibition.

"Images from Abroad" in the first floor of the Academic Commons features photos taken by USD and Cosumnes River College students who participated in a faculty-led study tour of Ireland, Wales, England and France last summer.

The photos show the students' range of vision and emotional response to their travel experience.

The work for the USD students focused on Ireland and "The Book of Kells."

The exhibit is free and open to the public through May 3.
