ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Flights in and out of Aberdeen Regional Airport have been facing delays and cancelations since Saturday because the airport's de-icing truck is not working.
Delta Air Lines spokesman Michael Thomas said the 6:45 a.m. flight out of Aberdeen Wednesday was canceled, but the afternoon flight is scheduled to take off.
Thomas says the flight was canceled because crews were waiting for a de-icing truck to arrive from Omaha, Neb. He says the 3:05 p.m. flight from Aberdeen is expected to leave on schedule, and operations will resume as normal after that.
The airport has had just one departure and one arrival since Saturday afternoon.
