Does it Work? We try the iSlice tool

Posted: Updated:

We are testing some of those "As Seen on TV" products live on the morning show every Wednesday in the 6:30 half hour. The first one in the line-up is the iSlice.  The packaging claims it's an incredible new cutting tool with thousands of uses. It has a ceramic blade that never rusts and stays sharp. Plus the silver part near the front of the product is a magnet so you can stick it on the fridge or here at work, our desk drawers.
"It promises to cut coupons, difficult plastic packages , CD's with ease and will be the most useful tool  you'll ever own."
Let's see if it works.

You have to hold it flat and it does work well for cutting coupons out of the newspaper. We tried using it to open the packaging it came in, which I think is always difficult to get open and it worked like a charm. It didn't cut all the way through cardboard.

iSlice is selling on Amazon for 1.27, but it can go up to 6.50, I got this at Nyberg's Ace for 5.99

It does work.
