Sioux Falls police say tips from the public helped them nab three people on meth charges in Sioux Falls.
Heather C. Schmidt, Nicholas Sherard and Jonathan K. Wallace were arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a place where drugs are kept or used, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were arrested Wednesday after the Sioux Falls Area Drug Task Force served a warrant at a home at 2205 South Grange Avenue.
Officers found several components necessary for operating a methamphetamine lab, marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia. At Thursday's police briefing, Officer Sam Clemens said the arrests were made after several tips.
The three are expected to appear in court on Thursday.
