Brookings mailman arrested after failing sobriety test

A Brookings mail man was arrested this week after failing a sobriety test.

A tip call came in Wednesday afternoon from someone who suspected the carrier was drinking on the job.

Police say the 33-year-old's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit and they found an open alcohol container in the mail truck.

The mailman's name is not being released.
