Posted: Updated:

Several people were arrested on drug charges Thursday after a tip call led Sioux Falls Police to the home located at 1315 E. 12th Street.

Around 3:30 Thursday afternoon, police uncovered an abandoned meth lab near the corner of 12th Street and Van Eps Avenue.  People working at a nearby business found items consistent with the "one pot" method of manufacturing methamphetamine on the side of the road.  The investigation led officers to the residence, where several arrests were made.

Tyler Hausten was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Abigail Shelton, who was wanted as a walkaway from the Minnehaha County Jail, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathon Julson was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Amber Counterman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
