Winterfest of Wheels starts Friday night in Sioux Falls

Winterfest of Wheels is an annual, indoor show benefiting Cure Kids Cancer. All profits from Winterfest of Wheels go to local Sanford Cure kids Cancer. The show includes a group of car, motorcycle and truck enthusiasts in the Sioux Falls area. They say their goal is to bring unique, premier vehicles to one location for everyone in the area to come see. Organizers say amazing cars are hand selected by their committee of volunteer car enthusiasts. The event also features great local products for women, art, and kids novelties.

The event runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this weekend at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Winterfest of Wheels will be open Friday night from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Admission is $9.00 for adults. You can also buy a weekend pass for $15. Children 12 and under free if accompanied by adult. You can also stop by J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls and pick up discounted tickets. Tickets there will be $8 for adults and they will donate $2 from every ticket.

Besides row after row of amazing cars to look at there will also be some special events going on. Celebrity Guest "Frank Fritz" from the American Pickers TV Show will be at the event on Saturday from 1:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.

An original Bob Schmeichel painting has been matted, framed and donated by Bob to be raffled off at the show. Raffle tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. All the proceeds go to Cure Kids Cancer.

There will also be an expanded "Ditch Your Man Room," and "Little Cruisers Store," to check out. Those rooms will feature a lot of local vendors selling everything from kitchen items and candles to cosmetics and bags. There will also be a lot of children's products to shop for as well.

The KSFY Morning Show will be getting a live preview of the event, Friday morning from 5:00am to 7:00am.
