PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota Department of Transportation officials announce Interstate 90 between Wall and Sioux Falls is now open.
Interstate 29 between Sioux Falls and the North Dakota border remains closed until further notice.
Motorists are reminded that highways in central and eastern South Dakota are snow-packed, ice-covered and slippery. There are also areas of blowing and drifting snow and drivers are being asked to slow down and drive with extreme caution.
Clean-up work continues and travelers are reminded to give snowplows plenty of room to work.
