ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - A Powerball ticket sold in Aberdeen is worth $10,000.
South Dakota lottery officials say the ticket matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball in the Saturday drawing to win the game's third prize. The odds of doing so are one in about 649,000.
The winner has about six months to claim the money.
Powerball is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot is at $50 million for the next drawing, on Wednesday.
