After record snowfall, Aberdeen digs out

Posted: Updated:

After more than a foot of snow, Aberdeen his begun to dig out.

"Actually, I will tell you, I dread this part, removing all this snow." Jennifer Gray said, with a shovel in her hand. "But, the kids are hoping there is not going to be any school and they got their wish today."

Gray, was not the only one who took the snowfall head on.

"There is a bunch of it, most I have seen here." George Garcia said.

Garcia and Gray are just two of many who had to clear their driveways, walkways, and porches after Sunday's blizzard.

"The kids enjoy it, but it is a ton of work to clean up." Garcia said.

With more snow falling on Monday, many are prepared for another round of cleanups later this week.

"This stuff is so heavy we have to use our shovels to move it," Gray said. "Next time we will break out the snow blower."
